Real Talk, Simple Faith

***TOP 5% GLOBALLY RANKED PODCAST FOR CHRISTIAN WOMEN*** Do you ever find yourself zoning out while reading the Bible, or think it’s just too complex too many rules? Have you felt judged by those who appear to have it all figured out? Do you believe you have to be perfect before going to God? Do you long for a community where you’re accepted and feel a sense of belonging? Are you looking for a way to rest and take a break? Hi! I’m Yahaira, mom, wife, veteran, and Jesus follower. I am so excited to welcome you to my podcast, Real Talk, Simple Faith. I’ve been there, feeling overwhelmed, especially by the thought of I must be Ms. Perfect before I step a foot in a Church. Perfect walk, perfect clothe, perfect hair, smiling. Honestly, there was a time in my life when I felt so intimidated by those people that I began to resent God. I found myself thinking, ’I don’t want anything to do with that God.’ When I read Mark 7:6-7 something triggered in me. I learned that God is a compassionate and merciful God, that all He is looking for is your heart, a true change of heart, He is looking to give us all a break, to rest in Him. That doesn’t happen overnight, it is a work in progress that takes all our life. I decided to challenge and rethink some of those traditional beliefs. I decided to go back to the basics of the Bible and talk about how simple and beautiful is to love God through Jesus. In this podcast I share basic practical tools that helped me move past religious judgments to loving and trusting the God of the Bible. I take things slowly, share tools that help me, and really focus on understanding God’s character over just rules and laws. I will not try to convince you about my interpretation or beliefs, that is my promise to you. I will speak my mind and granted you will disagree with me sometimes, but that is ok we are still friends. Let’s face it, there’s so much we don’t know about God and the divine realm that to be honest, we would be losing the whole purpose of the Bible, which is create a relationship with God, a personal relationship. Are you ready to get to know and trust the God of the Bible with me in a different way, Are you ready finally join a conversation that really speaks to you, without judgment, no rush, and on your own time, then this podcast is for you. Get your coffee or wine, depending on the time of day you are listening to me, and join me on this journey through the Bible, we are going to get to know Yahweh. I’ll see you next Tuesday! In the meantime, Sip Slow, Pray Deep, Love Always!

Hi friend!
In this episode of Your Weekly Compass, I talk about the art of patience and the virtue of trusting in God's timing. Psalm 25:3 serves as our anchor, reminding us that those who trust in the Lord will never be disgraced. Are you struggling with the wait? Are you grappling with the desire for instant answers in a world that prizes immediacy over divine timing? Join me as I explore the challenges of waiting on the Lord, especially in a society that's wired for speed and immediate gratification.
Whether you're waiting for guidance in your career, clarity in your relationships, or answers to your deepest prayers, this episode invites you to consider the transformative power of patience and the peace that comes from trusting in God's perfect timing.

In this episode of Your Weekly Compass, I go on a journey through 2 Timothy 1:1 to uncover the essence of God's will and the role of Jesus in our lives. Paul's epistle sets the stage for a dive into the transformative power of faith in Christ Jesus and the life He promises. What does Jesus mean to you? Is He merely a historical figure, or is He the key to unlocking a profound relationship with God?
Jesus is not just a moral exemplar but the gateway to intimacy with God. The Holy Spirit, sent by Jesus, guides us in truth, but we must be immersed in the Word to discern its voice. Psalm 119:105 reminds us that His Word illuminates our path through life's fog, but we must draw near to grasp His hand and see clearly.
Join me in rethinking the concept of God's will beyond religious rules and moral guidelines. Discover how loving God and our neighbor surpasses all commandments and leads to true transformation. Reflect on how seeing Jesus as the center of God's will reshapes our approach to following Him and how our relationship with Him reveals God's plan for our lives.
Be part of our community by joining the Sip Pray Love Facebook group, where we share life's journeys and study God's Word together.

Hi!
In this episode I go through Hebrews 7:25, where we're reminded that Jesus is our perpetual intercessor, advocating for us at every moment. We go over the profound truth that Christ himself is praying for us, influencing the cosmos to align with His will for our lives.
Feelings of loneliness and distance from Jesus are natural, but today's episode offers a personal and relatable approach to bridging that gap. Discover how envisioning Jesus and God's presence in the daily routine can transform your spiritual walk. Listen to a candid narrative about early morning devotions, complete with coffee and contemplation, that paints a vivid picture of intimacy with the God.
This episode is a call to action, to make Jesus' intercession meaningful by living in a way that makes Him proud. It's a reminder that we are a work in progress, and even when we falter, Jesus is our advocate, ready to guide us back to God's path.

This is what the Lord says:
“Stand at the crossroads and look;    ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it,    and you will find rest for your souls.    But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’"
Jeremiah 6:16 NIV
Feeling worn out? Like you’re constantly running on life’s treadmill, trying to keep up, but just can’t catch your breath? If that sounds familiar, you might be chasing after the kind of security this world offers – things like money, success, approval, or even the love from those around you. But here’s the thing: these earthly things, as good as they may seem, they’re shaky foundations. They can’t satisfy the deepest longings of your heart or shield you from life's storms.
When we start living for God and relying on His strength, not ours, that's when we find peace for our souls. It’s not about striving harder; it’s about resting in His power and grace.
Remember, true rest doesn't come from what we achieve or accumulate, but from knowing we are God's beloved and living in His strength. Let's shift our focus from chasing temporary comforts to embracing the eternal peace and rest that Jesus offers. In Him, we find the strength to face life's challenges and the peace to calm our weary souls. Let Go and Let God!!
